DFW Airport Signs New Use Agreement With Airline Partners

Oct 19, 2010 - STAR-TELEGRAM - Dallas/Fort Worth Airport announced on Tuesday that it has signed a new 10-year use agreement with its partner airlines. The airport, which had discussed the new agreement at previous board meetings, says that the contract allows D/FW to retain the net revenues from parking, concessions, car rentals and other non-airline sources while airlines pay for the net operating costs of the airfield and terminal through landing fees and terminal rent.

Sky Train Transit Network Takes Shape at Phoenix Airport (PHX)

Oct 14, 2010 - AC&T D.Ann Shiffler - The structure of the new Sky Train transit network is taking shape at the Sky Harbor International Airport in Phoenix. When complete, the elevated rail system will transfer passengers between the airport's busiest terminal, Terminal 4, and the Metro Light Rail station and East parking lots.

Airport Predicts Jump in Traffic

Oct 9, 2010 - PITTSBURGH TRIBUNE REVIEW - The Allegheny County Airport Authority predicts traffic will take off at Pittsburgh International Airport next year, increasing for the first time in a decade. "We are fortunate to be able to look ahead to 2011 with a positive forecast," said authority Executive Director Brad Penrod.

BWI Thurgood Marshall Airport Concludes Record Summer with New August Record

Oct 8, 2010 - One month after setting an all-time monthly record for passenger traffic, Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport reported that 2,108,125 passengers traveled through the Airport in August. That figure, an increase of 5.2 percent over August 2009, was an all-time August record for passenger traffic at BWI Marshall, and the second-busiest month ever. Read more at:
